Learn to Layer Like a Pro

We will also kick off the new season of our Home Gardening Series. Come learn about how to plant, care for, and maintain your bulbs properly for years of enjoyment.  Hanover Master Gardeners will demonstrate how to create a lasagna bulb pot. This is a clever way to layer bulbs for continuous blooms. Want to try it at home? Master Gardeners will be on hand to help you choose the right bulbs and quantities to build your own masterpiece.

Tree Talk Tent

Thinking about planting trees or shrubs this fall? Stop by the Tree Information Tent to chat with Tree Stewards. Get expert advice on site preparation for and planting of trees and shrubs in the fall and winter—no formal presentation, just real-time answers.

Compost for the Winter

Back by popular demand: Mushroom compost available for purchase—just like at our Spring Plant Sale. Your soil will thank you. You can see in our garden the difference this compost has made in our growing success.

Kids’ Corner

Let the little ones dig into gardening creativity too. They can make a corn husk doll or decorate a pot & plant a fall flower to take home.
