Mature Size: Small to medium-sized tree up to 60 ft.
The Linden tree is a large deciduous tree known for its dense, pyramidal crown and heart-shaped, dark green leaves. In early summer, it produces clusters of small, pale-yellow flowers that are highly fragrant and attract bees and other pollinators. This tree prefers moist, well-drained soils and is commonly used as a shade or street tree. Its small, nut-like fruits are eaten by birds and small mammals.
