Quercus bicolor
Mature Size: 50 to 70 feet in height, 2 to 3 feet in diameter
The Swamp White Oak grows in bottomlands and wet forests. Leaves are glossy green above with pale, fuzzy undersides. The tree’s large acorns support many wildlife species. Its location in a freshwater wetland provides breeding sites for frogs, toads, and salamanders.
